I was born in 1978 in a house that looked like a barn in downtown Palermo. My only games were of sculpture and design, I used mud to make my meatballs.
With time, I understood that sculpture was game my mother cared not for. So I gave myself to it completely.
At ten years old, design became everything to me. The desire to be one of the best arose. The desire to be an illustrator was born. Both were nurtured in La Scuola d’Arte along with the needed knowledge to execute it. After traveling outside of Italy many times, I began frequenting the SRF (Scuola Romana dei Fumetti).
The profound effect of those I encountered there is immeasurable. Massimo Rotundo, Paolo Morales, Yoshiko Watanabe, Corrado Mastrantuono and Sicomoro to name a few of my mentors. In 1999, I discovered the power of the computer to be a great instrument, an instrument less cold than others I had held and controlled in the past.
I was devastated. I soon went to work hands on in agencies of graphic design and advertising where I concentrated in packaging and using every graphic design application possible. And this is all.
